Florida Appraisers:

Please apply to join this User Group for discussions regarding Florida topics. 6 said they would join but I have only 2 names.

The Florida Appraisers User Group is a User Group and not just a Florida Forum. The difference is that only members that have joined the group can participate in a User Group, while everyone that has registered at AppraisersForum.com can particpate in any forum.

Florida appraisers - how to apply for the new Florida user group:

1. To join any user group you must be registered with AppraisersForum.com. If not registered click the "register" icon at the top of each page and follow the instructions.

2. After you are registered with AppraisersForum.com AND you have received the activation email indicating that your registration is active, AND you have logged in to AppraisersForum.com click the "user group" icon or this link: http://appraisersforum.com/forums/groupcp.php

3. Select the "Florida Appraisers" Group and click "view information". Click the "join group" button and that's all you have to do! Note: You must be logged in or you will not see the "join group" button. Since only registered members can join a group the system assumes that if you are not logged in that you are not registered, so it does not show you the "join group" button.

The moderator will need to approve you, and you will get a confirming email. You must be a Florida Appraiser to be approved.

4. After you get your approval email for the Florida Appraisers User Group you will be able to post messages and read messages from the group. It works just like any forum. You do not have to do anything else special. Your forum log in serves also as the group log in.

If you ever want to leave the group click on the "user groups" icon, and under the ACI group there is a "unsubscribe" button.

Where is the the Texas Section? Just kidding. I really don't think separate sections are needed.

OK - I guess I'm a dummy. I don't see the join the group thingy and I though I was already registered. Also, I have two different email addresses and I think I'm registered twice, as I have a different email address on my home computer. I wish there was a way I could combine them both. I joined the FAIR group at home and it won't let me sign in here at the office. If I join the Florida one here then it won't let me sign in from home. But, of course, I can't figure out how to register, anyway.

To join a user group you must be logged in. Make sure you are logged in with the user name that you are going to use at both at home and work.

Click the "user group" icon at the top of the forum index. Then select the user group that you want to view information about. Then click the "join group" button for that forum. If you do not see all of this then you are not logged in or did not select the user group and click the "view information" button.

Then tell me which user name you want me to delete. We really don't allow two registrations for the same person anyway as it just causes problems and confusion. There is no reason that you can't one user name for both computers. You will have to log in again from the computer that uses the user name that we delete, but it will only be one time if you check the "log me in automatically" box.

Bye, Have Fun Y'all

Not sure I understand your post, no one is going anywhere, but we will still try to have fun!

Hey Charlotte, I didn't mean to make you feel left out!

It's just for Florida specific stuff and to try to get more Florida appraisers involved both on a local and state level.
