Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I was conditioned yesterday (condo appraisal) for a FNMA form 1028. I've been appraising nearly 20 years and this is the first time I've been asked for this form. I did a search through my wintotal forms & found nothing.

Anyone used this?

I suspect it has to do with project completion

My money says the lender:

1. Thinks since the condo is in a multi-family building, they need a multi family appraisal; and

2. They mistakenly put "1028" when they meant "1025"

Thanks guys, I suspected as much. I'll post what they're really after once I find out.

The Form 1028 was/is "Final Project Acceptance" issued by FNMA when they approved a condo project. I don't think it is used anymore, but I could be wrong.

Even if it is still being used, it is not filled out by the appraiser. I think it was filled out and issued by FNMA.

Yes I just found out the same thing. I guess the form is still being used, but it's not an appraisal form.
