I bought this software July, 2001 and it's a big waste of money, in my opinion. I installed it, had it running, but it couldn't find the streets in the counties/cities I appraise in. I called support and they said .....Yeah.....we don't have them all, especially the newer streets. Well these streets I'm referring to have been here for over 75 years. When I had my computer crash in November, the Geolocater left too, of course. I installed it in my new computer because their tech people said they were updating the streets. Shortly after I installed it, I got the message..."no longer installed...reinstall"..... I reinstalled over and over. Now, it says I've used up my "reinstalls". I've called and e-mailed tech support and have had no response. This cost almost $250.....Anyone else have problems? :x

Charlotte,

I used them with my old software. Unfortunately, Total doesnt let me use them. I always found them to be very good. Even once got a free update disk from them. Did you buy the map program through your appraisal software provider? Might be a place to start if you did.

Crazy people!

I have been using Geolocater for years and would buy stock in the company if I could! The map program is "by far" the best out there and makes incredibly good looking maps! Very fast, very efficient! Of course they are not going to have "every" street but then WHO DOES?

The tech support (Doug) is what every company should be! Never any problems, never a glich!

If your new to the biz, invest in Geolocator!

Russ....Guess you're really behind this product. Good for you! Not worth a nickle to me here in Dover, Delaware. Geolocator doesn't even have the two busiest streets in the City. Homes on these streets are over 100 yrs old. Back in the early eighties when I entered the business, I was anxiously looking forward to new technology. Most of it has been good. Sorry, I'm not impressed with this Geolocator thing.

Sounds like you know who to call for help. Who's Doug? What is his number?

Russ, I take half of the bad things I said back, regarding Geolocator!
Doug called me, was quite helpful, and is sending me an updated version. Nice guy! :)
