Looks like a ghost town on the Indiana board. Everyone defecating the pants because of UDCP? My initial runs of multi regression are fruitless without hours of cleaning data because of the limitations of our BLC(MLS) system. Anyone had any luck with regression yet? It's pretty slow right now because my clients are coming back and saying other appraisers are charging as low as $175 for a SFR appraisal so they can't justify my quality report when they can get a report for so cheap. Can't wait for these skid marks to get caught and leave the business. Thoughts?

$175 URAR reports? When I firt started i got $190 and that was back in 1980!!

Why would you run multiple regression on a limited data set?

We Hoosiers don't tend to cause a lot of problems for ourselves by making mountains out of molehills the way appraisers in other parts of the country apparently do. Also, we tend to appreciated the difference between quality and quantity and most of the thousand-posts-per-month crowd seem to live either on the coasts or Florida.

As far as defecating my pants over UAD, no I haven't. Mainly because I informed my clients last year that I no longer accept F/F appraisals that require UAD. I keep as busy as I want to be but haven't completed a report for the secondary market since last April.

I find 10 to 30 sales sufficient to do mlr on 5 factors & typically that accounts for more than 50% of value
