1) Purchase new Windows 11 Computer. In process on converting.
2) Keep up-to-date on all the free UAD 3.6 videos.
3) Waiting on my software company to release their UAD 3.6 program. Matter of days is what I am told.
4) Evaluating my sketch options to use. Apex 6 is my go-to.
5) Completed a state-approved on-line UAD 3.6 course.
6) Tried to get most of my non-AMC work a heads up on what's coming down the pike.

Please add if you see I am missing anything I should be aware of.
As much as I want to think I am 3.6 ready ---deep down I know I am not....not confident at all
Thank you.

I plan to first do a mock appraisal that will use as a sample a property that I recently appraised before I accept a real order.
IT sounds like you are setting yourself up for success with your preparations!

1. I think if you said Bradford then you will need Night Hawk, which is an entirely different platform and software than Clickforms. I would definitely give them a call and ask.
2. I went through the approved courses, then I went through Alamode’s 4 hour live course. The 4 hour course was far far better than the approved course I took. I feel a bit more ready now. At least I have a basic idea of how the program functions which is significantly (almost completely) different that the Total 2.6 program. I think you will find that to be the case with what Bradford is putting out.
3. You really won’t be ready until you have an orientation and practical run through with the program you will be using on your computer. I suggest that you actually do an inspection on your house or some other house from start to end using the 3.6 form. That will help considerably. I have not done that yet. But that will give me a better idea of what I am up against.
4. Even then this won’t get you through the condo form…and then there is the multi-family form….the manufactured home form, and then there are a host of variations within each of these. Frankly I don’t think any of us will feel ready.
5. I was talking to one of the chief appraisers at a major bank and he thinks this is going to be a big mess. I am part-time (retired). I may just take November off and let all this shake out.
