Members:
The following is my email with ACI today about GPF errors I have been having and the response I got from Corey Sherman in Tech Support.
Maybe this will help some of you. Maybe not!
My email to Corey Sherman at ACI:
Corey:
Four times in the past two days I have gotten the GPF message shown below. Each time I lost data that had been entered since the last auto save (set for 5 minute saves). I have made no significant changes with my system or my software recently.
Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to stop this from happening? I am using V8.1.2.327 on a Dell Dimension XPS with 512 MB of RAM. Other than the normal stuff that runs in the background I have had only one other program running at the time of the GPFs. Help!!!

When do you get that error? It sounds like one that we have been getting calls on related to using picklists, primarily linked common responses. If this is the case, we might try having you not use linked common responses and see if you can recreate the error. If you still get the error this way, try creating a new picklist to narrow down this possibility that it's picklist related. It is possible for it to not be because of the picklist at all, in that case it would require further looking into. If you have any questions, or this does not clear anything up for you, feel free to give me a call.
