Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum and I wish I had found it before I pursued obtaining my Appraisal Trainee license. Finding a mentor is going to be tough for this old Brick and Stone Mason of almost 40 years.
After a work injury in 2009 I decided to get busy and start a new career and Residential Appraising appealed to me. Now that I have my license and I am one class away from obtaining my AA Degree to meet the upcoming 2015 education requirements, finding a Mentor looks like a very tough task.
My hat's off to all of you appraisers that are currently working. I had no idea how involved the process of writing appraisals was until I started school. I hope to join ranks of the Certified Residential Appraisers in a few years.
Hopeful :new_newbie:,
Doug C.
