Has anyone seen "Inside Job"?

My wife and I saw "Inside Job" last night. It is a documentary regarding the financial meltdown that every American needs to see. It is so maddening you cannot believe it. There is even a quick mention of "inflated appraisals". What is truly sickening is to find out that the foxes that invented this meltdown are now in the highest positions of watching the henhouse.

Over my 25+ appraisal career, I have been called anal, overly conservative and naive. I was told I was paranoid, a conspiracy theorist with a black helicopter obsession.

I saw the signs that began years ago -- as far back as the S&L Bailout. I've been outspoken about a broken lending and appraisal system and the daily compromises that ALL appraisers were faced with and collusion and conflicts of interest within the industries with only a few other appraisers agreeing with me -- most notably Pam Crowley. Too many other appraisers bought into the 'game' in one way or another -- either a little or a lot

It truly was and inside job and completely avoidable.

It goes without saying that no new regulations are needed. The old ones were perfectly sufficient. The problem was not bad regulations; it was lack of enforcement. Inside job indeed!

Do not...I repeat do not buy American Bank equities eg citi, boa etc. They are going to be forced to buy back those toxic loans that they sold off. The buy backs will be in the billions and their stock price will tumble until they find themselves living in OTC land. Beware,

Lee, it is in the theatres now. It should be required "viewing". It is scary to me that the people that invented this mess continue to lead and influence the markets. Many of us thought that collusion HAD to be a part of what happened....I think this is proof positive. I URGE all to see this...but if you take BP medicine or nitroglycerin.....have some in your pocket.
