Purchased a manufactured home report today for $50. The delivered report has the incorrect manufacturer and I cannot get them to respond to an inquiry about how to change this. Am I stuck with just eating that $50 and spending $50 more? I may have goofed (Clarion instead of Clayton) on their selection menu but there was no way to proof. I do maybe one or two mobile homes a year and don't need to subscribe.

Anyone have an email address (beside the stupid feedback form on their contact up page) or phone number?

Anyone with a subscription want to sell me one? If I have to buy it twice, I'd as soon not give it to them just for leaving me hanging.

Call them. The menu items are so close together you really have to watch out making sure and why isn't there some way to get the manufacturer and NADA on the same page regarding model names. Did a Clayton Homes recent with some model clearly on the label as an XX-301 but there is only a model 3000 series. Nothing matches and without the sales paperwork, the names are usually impossible to determine.

Could not find a phone number anywhere on their site. All they had was an email address and a stupid FAQ under "contact us". I sent them an email twice and no one responded. There's a Clayton dealer down the road from me, so I just drove over there and the sales guy was nice enough to help me look it up. The internet has become nothing but a giant vacuum hose trying to suck all the money from my wallet.

Yep..and the NADA site isn't going to win many awards. It got ridiculously expensive but I figured out National Building Cost guides basically show the cost of manf. homes about twice too high in our area...even their lowest category will yield costs simply out in left field. If I can find the maker and model, I search the internet first and sometimes find that make/model and list price on line. And NADA does not provide the RCN...

I just use M&S. Although for free, I could use the CA BOE's Assessor's Handbook 531 and do it all by hand. Might take an hour. But who could argue with an official source right from the State?

FTR... "cost guides" are not based on cost. They are based on sales of factory built housing.
