I typically search for each subdivisions HOA via google. Depending on the activity level, they may have a monthly or quarterly newsletter that details current dues. Otherwise, a call or email to the listed agent of the HOA for info.
If you search MLS for a particular s/d or complex there will be some of them that have disclosed the HOA fee. It could b an active, pending, sold, expired....whatever. I suspect the issue is you are not a member of any MLS.
I've never had an issue finding the hoa dues. There are very few subdivisions that don't have ay least 1 active, recently sold, recent withdrawn, etc listed in the MLS. I've also verified this by asking the borrower during the property inspection portion of the assignment on a refi, or agent for a purchase.
I'm not aware of any general website that has this information. Most HOA websites don't indicate their dues.
