Has anyone heard of this organization? See their website at:

http://www.homedownpayment.org/

Would you consider this practice a seller concession? Even though they call it a gift it works the same way as a typical seller concession. The money the seller contributes to this organization comes right back to the buyer at closing, so the sale price on the contract is increased to reflect this 'gift' or concession. Am I not right?

Absolutely a Seller Concession....Quid Pro Quo.

A gift is not repaid.

Except in the magic world of pixey dust and Real Estate gift loans.

Of course it is a concession; if it looks and sounds like a duck, then what is it?
