When I created pdf file, it has 'LandSafe Appraisal Services' logo on the background of the report.

How to avoid/delete this logo?

Daniel:

You apparently installed the Landsafe parts of ACI when you installed it. I don't have that part of ACI on my computer and find no place in my printer setup areas where there is a check box for Landsafe.

But... go to the File tab, select print Adobe PDF, select the path and name the file you want to print. Click save. You will get the print components page. See if there is a Landsafe check box with a check mark in it. If there is just un-check the box. That MIGHT fix your problem.

I get the LSI check box on the print components page and I have it unchecked by default. If I check the box I get Lender's Service Inc. in the upper left corner when the PDF prints.

Good luck!

I don't see any landsafe check box there.
Well, I will try to contact ACI.

Thank you, Dave.

This is called a Watermark. Go to "Edit", scroll down to "Watermark" and it ask to insert or clear. Just push clear and it will be gone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It is gone!

Yes, that watermark thing used to bug me too, and then I learned of the "clear" step in the Edit function, and it went away, that time, when printing that report's form page.

What I want to learn now is how to make the watermark NEVER need to be cleared again ! Can a NON-watermark aspect be locked-in as a default setting ?

The problem with trying to clear that watermark off of there permantely is that you may be using Forms, or a Report Pak that is created for a specific Lender.

I know that for the Countrywide report paks, IE 1004-Countrywide, it will always have the watermark on there because it was created for a particular lender.

But like they pointed it out, you can go to Edit, Watermark, Clear and that will take care of the watermark.
