I have the Residential License exam coming up and the instructions on what NOT to bring are programmable calculators. Does anyone know if my HP-12c Financial Calculator is allowed to be used during the exam?

Way back in the day, I think the HP12c was allowed into the exam room, after showing the proctor it was cleared.

The "master clear" of the HP 12c is accomplished when the following sequence is executed:
  • With the calculator off, press and hold

    .
  • Turn the calculator on.
  • Release

    .
If the operation is successful, the display shows:

We were allowed to use it when i took the test

HP 12c is one of the 2 accepted calculators. I think the other is the TI BA2.
