My vertical log house, with chip board floors and round oak stoves, no foundation etc. That I posted about on Friday.

Got a call from the realtor, she wanted to know why I told the AMC friday that this was a complex appraisal. I told her because there are not many vertical log homes, if any in the area that have sold in the past two years, with the only heat source two over size round oak stoves, with chip board floors, no R-factor in the wood shingle roof. Well we have a lot of log homes in the area you can use for comparables. Please fax me over some. Thank you for your help.

The next call I get is from the AMC, they are putting me in touch with the lender. 3 way call. The lender is telling me the realtor has an appraiser that can have the appraisal report to them in the morning, with more then enough value to make the loan of $200,000. The AMC ask me what my trip charge will be. I told them that my field person was still out looking for comparable at real estate offices has been for two days. That we have the inspection completed and the legal work done. My fee at this point is full tilt. yaajfdoahjfqpfa'nvafhioqawfnvafhoiavn Lender how soon can you have the completed report to us. Ray, "when we get enough information for an honest appraisal." Or just send me a check and you can hire Skippie. Some more asoigh[aegh[a'd'ov[a'eho'nbldb'aoegiha'n. I agreeded to have it to them as soon as possible, but it would be a correct report.

I am really thinking about calling the board of realtors.

I'd be mad too. Call em Ray. :fencing:

Dang Ray.....Your getting totally upset over a stupid deal.....calm yourself... It's really not worth getting yourself in a "state".......you could end up in the ER....not worth it...chill dude! This too shall pass; do the best you can and know you've done your best!

It is WAY past time for NAR to strongly publish articles (plural intended) regarding the ethics of Realtors interactions with Appraisers and lenders!!!!

I am making a call today to both state and national offices about the problem. They are feeding like a bunch of sharks that have smell blood. I don't think that give a wild _ _ _ hoot about the well bieng of their clients or the industry.

So true!!!

The editor of the Wisconsin Real Estate Magazine, published by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, in an editor's note over a year ago, asked for suggestions for articles. I sent an email pleading for an article or articles addressing all the many issues that appraisers have with their Realtor "friends."

So far, nothing, nada, not a peep. And there probably won't ever be.

Ray, calling the board office will be a waste of time. The board personnel have no clue about your situation. They will say "sorry, there isn't anything we can do.

I could go on, but why waste my time.

That said, I am a Realtor. I have given of my time, my talents and my money to the local board, the state association and to NAR. I have been a Realtor for 31 years and yet I have now despaired of ever seeing any concern for the appraiser Realtors on the part of the sales Realtors. And the industry calls itself professional

Oh those Realtors, if you try to maintain the delicate balance, it's almost impossible to do so mainly because secrecy prevents you from knowing what the other side is doing.

I myself am not content with all the destruction, pumped values, hypocrisy, misunderstanding, illegal kickbacks, lechery, dirty paranoia, simple fraud, ambition, euphemism, heroism, and even a grisly laughing that these Realtor put forth.

All the while shrieking like a wild rodeo clowns yelling into oblivion about values and such.

They are taught how to plan it, how to commit it, how to get away with it, and how to justify it.

I'll leave out Dave Smith, but most of the realitors I have dealt with are worthless. Had one today, he was told ahead of time the HOA management company info would be needed at inspection time, said OK. Course at the inspection he has no clue. Moron. ;)

Guess I should be happy he could open the door. Useless.
