I have to switch to iPhone

Like what? I'm not really a pad guy and I loathe laptops so I just needed a good rugged weatherproof Android pad for Total mobile. I'm PC guy by day and cell phone by night. I guess I'm the only one I hated every single day of my iPhone's existence
Yeah, me either. Gave up after the terrible Android tablet. But played with iPads a lot and they are freaking slick. We might break down and get one for a music notation app (piano) as well as some really high quality learning games for the kid.

Does it come with a cup holder for the hours sluddging away at those new check boxes while in that house. Tell the owner to have a pot of coffee ready for your morning stay

I can't wait for the first pad thread, if you don't shoot youself first.

Now that I'm back with Samsung it's time to buy a tablet again for mobile. Talking with my pal @Functional Obs he suggested the size of something like his iPad mini. So, I asked Grok what is a Samsung unit that would work for Total for mobile for working in the field and rain/snow and it said the Active5 Tab. Having never heard of this series I looked it up and damn it sounds perfect. Military grade (MIL-STD-810H) IP68 water/weather rating and you can use the touch screen with gloves and a chunky S Pen for sketches (I'm assuming never used mobile) seems freaking perfect. 8 years of support, swappable battery and some business/enterprise perks I'm told who knows what that means. It's available on their business page so I registered my biz and got temporary approval with a $18 discount. I then asked Grok and Gemini to scan for discount codes, which never work but Gemini hooked me up. It said ask the chat for a 1 time code for your first purchase which worked! Got an additional code taking off $30 more atta boy Gemini. So, $450 plus tax seems cool can't wait to check it out here's a video review I don't know what anyone else uses or like but this seems good.

What I like is that the iPad mini is the same size as the 5'x8.25' notebook I scribble measurements in. It's easy to care both at the same time.
