I was just informed by Sen. Schultz office that the state of Wisconsin in 2004 took all the appraisers off the AQB roster and required all appraisers in the state of Wisconsin to submit their work files for review in order to be placed back on the roster.

I would like emails from appraisers stating that they had to send the state additional work files for review to be place back on the roster or they did not receive a request and did not send work files into the sate.

Where this is coming from is in late Nov. 2003, I received a letter from the state say that I need to submit 2500 more hours to remain on the ABQ which I never was in the first place. In early December of 2003 I submitted the required rooster with 3500 hours +/- to the state ask to be put on the AQB rooster. In addition at the same time I sent my application in for my Certified Residential license. Now the state is coming back and saying they need to review my work again and I need to submit additional reports and they will get to them after Oct. 16, 2008. That there was some kind of miss-understanding back in 2003. Did not tell the senator office just what the miss-understanding was. I sure never heard of the miss-understanding and I called them several times over the last five years.

They could not find my letter request for the AQB, but they did have my application for the CET. RESIDENTIAL and roster. I even have a letter in file they sent me that said I completed my roster in to short of a time. Now it seems they have lost the roster I sent, so I had to resent it and they had lost the cover letter as well. Sure glad someone had to sign for it back in Dec. of 03.

Over the last four years I have been request to send addition work files in for review and have complied. Now today they come up with the story that in Jan. of 04 every one was taken off the AQB roster, they had to send work files and appraisals in for review to be placed back on the rooster.

That is why I need this information ASAP for the senator’s office staff. Just as a matter of pure fact I think the state is lying to the senator office about pulling all appraisers off the AQB in Jan. of 04 and reviewing all their work again.

So if you can help me out please do.

Can they produce that in their monthly meeting minutes? Our state has all the minutes online for each meeting.

Ray,
I can speak for myself. I have never recieved such a request from the state.

I was going through the different upgrades around tha time and did have to turn in my files as part of that process, but that isn't much help.

I also had sent in some file for my Cert Res but some how they got lost as well.

This was just to upgrade you AQB. They told the senators office that the other files that were requested for license upgrades did not apply to the AQB request that different files need to be sent in that they had requested. This was a special request for the AQB to be placed back on the roster for 04. The letter I got was dated Nov. 03,but it says nothing about sending in files for review. Just send in the roster which I did. They never did request files for review till last week.

Come Wisconsin appraisers, contact Ray Miller either through PM and/or Email as to whether or not you did recieved this WI State Board request for logs and/or files to be considered AQB compliant!!!

I was certified in 1991, #154. I have not heard anything from the state since then except for renewals. I am AQB qualified.
