I seem to recall that in the past renewal Illinois required all CE to have been completed 3 or 6 months prior to the renewal date or a fine was imposed. Am I remembering correctly? Is this still a thing?

Thanks

Yes, the last two 2-year cycles, they've had a 6/30 deadline for CE. I THINK that it was mentioned in the USPAP class that they are going back to a 9/30 deadline this cycle...but don't hold me to that

Back to normal :).

The June 30th date was a "thing" of the past-Director (who I referenced in a veiled manner in my posts in 2018--and into 2019?--in the ILLINOIS forum).

Never understood the “3 months early” thing. Glad to see the change, as procrastination is my thing and late September is a fine time for it!

:p
