When I remodeled my unit in early 2022, I thought my contractor price was too high. Even back then lumber prices and such were high.
Now I hate to imagine how much costlier now to do the same remodeling work.
Considering the high cost of construction, I'm surprise home prices haven't gone up as fast as inflation.

Biden's deficit spending this fiscal year was $1.9 trillion after running it up 20+% with monetary inflation. Shelter was 40% of the increase in the CPI, so inflation won't go away soon. Maybe it will start to subside nine months after the new tax/deregulation plan is implemented but not until then at the minimum.

Once a week, I check on this listing (on market for more than 3 months which is too long) which I did an appraisal back in 2021.
It still can't sell. How could I appraised it so wrong? Should have sold by now. Must be prices haven't increased.
