FWIW, we submitted an update for iOS 9 a few weeks ago. I don't know why it took so long for approval, but we finally got approval earlier this week. Unfortunately, even after we (and, I suppose, Apple) tested it before and during the submission and review process, I am told that iOS 9.1 came out and when we updated the app on our own iPads with iOS 9.1, there was a graphics glitch - things were scrunched up and not as usable as we'd like. I am also told that with iOS 9.1 devs were advised of graphics changes required, so at this point, I'm believing what I am told.
So, we are recoding the necessary items and than we will retest and resubmit the app ASAP. I'm hoping that the approval process doesn't take so long this time. One would think it wouldn't since there are no real substantial changes. It is not very likely that an human being there actually reviews/tests anything, so I'm hoping that the "rush" for resubmission is over and that this is an "automated" process, but what do I know? ;-)
All that said, be sure to note that the only thing new in the app (once it is approved & released again) is the compatibility with the now current release of iOS (i.e. 9.1) I have no intention of putting further effort in to this program and the description on the app store will reflect that. The main purpose of the new submission is to update EXISTING users, not gain new users of this app. IF we decide to release a different iOS product, we'd need to rework it and simplify it as it is not currently a Fee Appraiser product (it is for a different market.)
