California Department of Real Estate Takes Disciplinary Action Against Lance McHarg and Real Estate Education Provider Real Estate Trainers, Inc.
The Department of Real Estate (DRE) has entered into a settlement with Real Estate Trainers, Inc. (RETI) and its former President, Lance McHarg.

The discipline comes after DRE discovered that McHarg took the real estate license exam numerous times without receiving a passing score. After an extensive investigation, DRE concluded that McHarg had subverted exam content for the purpose of including this information in educational materials offered by RETI intended for students preparing to take the State’s real estate license exam.

Seems that the logical first question anybody who paid for a test prep course comprised of nothing but sample questions would be how were the questions obtained; this type of activity must have been going on for at least two decades! [The issue has been fresh in my mind since the get-go because it always reminded me of a geology final exam at WVU long long ago when the final exam was comprised of about 100 slides of different rocks, each of which had to be identified one-by-one, as the slides progressed every few minutes....and 90% of the class identified all 100 slides...by the time the 50th slide had been displayed [obviously because the same slide show exam was administered semester-after-semester-after-semester...]

My sister's ex boyfriend was a SAT tutor for the wealthy.
He would go take SAT tests and remember the questions. He had an incredible memory and helped his clients.

I presume that you're familiar with the recent nationwide Adminissions scandal coordinated by homeboy in Newport Beach who went so far as to photoshop images of high school students purportedly rowing a boat -- in front of an artifical image displayed on a wall -- in order to obtain college crew scholarships at numerous, upper echelon universities--for like $100K per admission. Is the corrupt appraisal industry simply a reflection of the greed inherent in a market economy?????

Yes it was exposed to the public what wealthy parents would do to get their children to selective colleges.
My brother had his children learn fencing, yachting, play violin, travel to unique locations, whatever advantage to get into a good school.
Would be easier to pay a "legacy" donation to the school.
