Is It Super Slow Or What?

Just curious if it is super slow across the board and are AMC's losing lots of business from those companies that are able to now order their own appraisals.
From what I have heard from lots of my peers with many different clients it is just really really historically slow in our appraisal world???

It would have been slow anyway, but I think the possible Fed shutdown possibly had an affect too.

Something else is also happening. A lot of the larger AMC's are hiring and placing in-house staff appraisers in markets where they did not have them before. If your AMC work has dropped fairly dramatically, as mine has, then this could be the case.
