...to see people much younger than me in terrible health.

My cousin, about 12 years younger than me, had a lung transplant, and now after 2 weeks, she isn't doing very well. They now think they will have to try a second attempt with new lungs. Kelly was a very cute teen-ager when I first saw her. Her father was murdered only to have her mother killed in a car wreck not many years later. So she was raised by a family who sent her to Harding Univ. where they lived in Searcy, Arkansas and she reconnected with family during college. Her aunt had lost touch with 2 of the 3 kids. Her husband and children are deeply affected by this, and no one is giving up hope yet. But even so, I cannot get her plight off my mind. Been bugging me all night since her husband informed us of the situation this afternoon.

Sorry to hear about it Terrel. Life is so strange you cant make it up. We have a family friend who nosed dived into an empty pool last week and is so severly messed up it is hard to process.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's always deeply sad when someone around me is sick or in bad condition. Recently one of my friend got a stroke and that makes me so sad...I hope you and your cousin get better soon.

Be thankful Terrel. Try to send encouragement to her husband and her if possible.

It sounds like she is in bad shape. She and they don't need pity. Say something like what you liked about her.

Say it hurts you. I don't know Terrel.

Prayer never hurts. Always good option.

Sometimes in situation like this, the less you say, the better off you are. Don't get depressed.

"Thinking of you with prayers" might be fine.

So sorry to hear that - very sad especially with all the hardships she faced -
