a la mode (Total) has discontinued supporting pre-Windows 10 location maps and my PC does not support an upgrade. Anyone have an alternative for location maps outside of a la mode?

Any program you have to use outside of your appraisal software will not enter distances or the geo location information into your appraisal software. You will also have to label subject and sales/listings/rentals manually. I am still using Windows 8.1 with Clickforms. Even though they don't "support" 8.1. It doesn't interfere with my mapping or any other function

win 10 seems to be a pretty stable program now but will disappear with 11 soon. how hard can it be to update to 10. unless your computer is that old. just for the slowness of older cpu, i would upgrade to a fast i7 chip for less overall slowness aggravation.

Well, I was asking about third party mapping software.
