I'm trying to stop paying for adjustment software, and I've transitioning to using more of my own tools either using excel or programming with R. Currently working on an application to help me with the time adjustments and GLA adjustments. I think it would be great if we can have a group to collaborate and create something like an open-source free tool that we can make available to everyone without charging.
Does anyone think that would be a good idea?

Hi, you can do a linear regressions using analysis toolpack in excel and pull adjustments like GLA, bedroom, bathroom, garage, pool, lake. I do this all the time. There is also synapse for appraisers if you dont mind paying the $35 a month. For $35 is not bad, it does a bunch of regressions and a depreciated cost analysis. Check out excel and analysis toolpack, Its probably all you'll need.

I just do sensitivity analysis myself... not a biggie.
