Has anyone successfully mapped MLS data to total?

I have found that Realtors do a poor job in inputting data into the MLS system/ It would take me twice the amount of time to go back and correct the data. It is easier for me to just input the data from scratch.

I have been able to get it to input the complete address, MLS numbers, sale and contract dates, sale price and concessions, heating/cooling. and I think that's it The rest of the fields are typically the same as the subject, so I just hit F2 to populate across the board (energy items, funciton, etc...) Its not perfect, but just enough to prevent me from spending money on Data Master so far. My MLS prints out a 1004MC form, so that takes 60 seconds for me to transfer the data into the form.

Why don't you download the 1004mc worksheet in Total? I have been using it for a few years now.

Apparently if the MLS data can be exported in CSV form, then it can be "mapped" into TOTAL. I don't know how. The last time I asked alamode "How do I get data from the MLS (price, date, site size, GLA etc) in to the grid or better yet the database?" the response I got was "What do you mean by in?"

Works best for SFR and condo form, not so much for 2-4 for me.
It's mostly because of the data that does or does not get input by the agents.
I like it. :peace:

Yes I do it all the time It works great for me

Me too.

It doesn't input all the data, but the important stuff works great and eliminates any chance of human error (address, MLS Listing #, DOM, Age, Site Size).

This is not something that can be set up in 15 minutes. It may take an hour or two, or three, to figure out, but it will save you time on every report after it is set up. Do it.
