What do you folks do when you are trying to go on vacation? Am I the only one that thinks it is unacceptable that Mercury does not have a vacation feature like every other portal?

First I have to email each client individually, which is a pain in itself. But of course the message never gets through to everyone who does the ordering, so both the client and myself have to waste our time with orders being declined one after the other.

I know you can turn off your profile completely, but how is the client supposed to know whether you are on vacation or just disappeared forever?

Alamode, if you read this forum PLEASE add a vacation/out of office feature to Mercury Network.

I'm going on vacation next week and just came to the same realization.

It would be a bit redundant. Just use the one in you e-mail account(s).

There already is such a feature as part of the XSite front end, which puts both the XSite client ordering and the Mercury ordering in vacation mode for a specified period. Obviously the vast majority of Mercury users have an XSite since it's a requirement for the other plugins (but that's changing).

If you don't have an XSite, disabling your profile is your best choice until we migrate that option to Mercury's config for non-XSite users. That's planned for January.
