I was told the increase was due to new technology for Realtors. I would like an opt-out option for Realtor tools! What are your thoughts as to the increase that does not improve the Appraiser experience?

Good luck complaining. I just paid mine $414 for the year, a bit below yours. Other people have much higher fees it seems.
One of them will probably be along soon to say quit yer bellyacheing. ;)

That would be me--I have to be on 3 MLS's, the most expensive of which is over $1,000/year. This is the one that deletes all but one picture after one year, and has terrible property information.

So yeah, quit your belly achin. :)

Seriously though--its just a cost of business. Pretty minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Here's mine:
********************************************************************************************************
Product Qty Price Line Total
2600 Pinellas - MFR fee -Residential - Annual fee 1 $350.00 $350.00
2600 Pinellas - Organization fee -Residential 1 $96.00 $96.00
Subtotal:

Tax:

$446.00

$0.00

Bal Due: $446.00

***************************************************************************************************************

There's also optional "RPAC" and "Charity" amounts you can add to your balance/fee

And then we get with another bill later in the year for another few hundred dollars (I forget when but want to say it's in the fall)

I have to agree with OI though ...

...and we do need it to conduct our business - at least on the RES side of things

A couple/few years ago they added/offered the "Appraiser Report" (under "Display" as a drop down option toward the top of the screen)

I've yet to see one that has actually been helpful for me as an appraiser (allegedly was, at least partially, influenced by appraiser input!)

To me, that report/display is worthless.

Personally I use the "Broker Synopsis" and filter the info from there

Call it an opportunity to build your own database of info and pics they have deleted.
You know, silver lining etc. :leeann:

Some areas here the listings may go back 20 years. But the older ones are not likely to have many if any pics. :peace:

Thank you both for your replies in the FLORIDA forum section. I suppose you both are familiar with our local FL market and pay our FL fees and dues? As well as California and Kentucky? BTW this only MLS, we have to pay $550.00 in October for ORRA dues.

bnmappraisal is the only FL appraiser to have posted. So he is the one poster I'm responding to. If you are not in FL please do not reply TY.

BNM, I agree I too use few MFRMLS pages other than Broker Synopsis. The added/offered "Appraiser Report" is a joke or insult imo. They have no clue as to what or how an appraiser uses the service.
