I've been working with ACI and the MISMO standard as much as the next person. I know that on the 1025 Small Res. Income form it is not possible to check more than one of the three occupancy boxes, being Owner Occupied, Tenant Occupied, and / or Vacant, and then generate a MISMO XML or AI Env file.
I have a client that is insisting that I check BOTH the owner occupied box AND the vacant box, since this is the current status of the 2 units in my subject building. I've placed commentary in the addendum of the status of both units, and explained in the report that I can only check one of those three check boxes; Yet this does not appease them. The client will not accept a PDF only report.
I called ACI to see if they could provide a work around or update that allows more than one to be checked, but they informed me that it is not possible, due to MISMO GSE standards.
Has anyone else had experience with such a client?
Were you able to find a way to provide them with what they wanted?
Is this an ACI only issue, or do other forms suites suffer the same issue due to MISMO GSE?
Thank you all for any help and input you may have.
