Mr. Thomas Fellow was elected Chairperson and Karen Tool as Vice-Chair for the period ending July 2008.
Meeting minutes of the October meeting are attached.
Several disciplinary actions were recommended with 6-month suspensions and up to $14,000 in fees. (See minutes for details)
I find that the minutes are short with many details left out. For example:
Citizen participation: "The following individuals provided testimony, which was recorded. That is all, no discussion or detail about their testimony.
Also, one appraiser and her attorney made a plea for leniency in a high profile tax conservation easement appraisal. Way beyond the appraisers competency level. However, nothing was included in the minutes.
Which brings up a point, what should be included and to what detail, in the minutes of the state appraisal boards?
