Good day

Long time user of N1 here - over a decade. It was a little buggy at the beginning but the appraiser/designer got N1 Classic to perform great. We positively loved it. Tom sold the company and last year the new company moved/forced us old timers to N1 Web. We find that there are lots of new and old glitches in it. With N1 Classic I think I went 3 to 4 years without ever having to contact support. It was great, or maybe I was just spoiled. Web is also full of fluff that we would never use, but can't hide it. Like trying to find a needle in a hay field sometimes. Even the programing is sloppy with cells too small to see what's input in them.....

Are there any other N1 users out there finding issues?

Thanks in advance.

My partner and I started with Tom’s software more than 30 years ago. Prior to the sale and the forced conversion to Web it had its minor problems and we knew about them and worked around them. I was forced to convert about a year ago and frankly I have stopped using their data bases and set up my own. First off their’s are cumbersome and frankly I felt and continue to feel that the main reason for their pushing Web was to gain access to our subject and comparable information. I had hoped when Web was first mentioned that the entire process would be web based so one could switch from computer to computer, use an iPad for inspections, etc. To say nothing of their doubling the annual fee.

Thanks KHS445
Good to know. Its a real shame that N1 Classic was ruined. It helped greatly in report production and the data base and making $. N1 + Dropbox allow us to work anywhere. I too thought they may want to steal data and sell a data base. However, I wouldn't have bought data from them. If I don't know the source of the information I wouldn't use it anyway. If they were going to steal it, then I was going to input fake/false data sheets in my system!!!! Take that upper management. We're extremely busy up here in Canada and don't have time to mess around with glitches and poor programing on a regular basis.
