Haven't seen any recent posts on this topic for a while so I wanted to ask the collective group for advice.

Do the software packages like Narrative One, Datappraise, Commercial Complete save you time and make the task easier? Are they worth the investment? Do any of these system connect to a database like CoStar so that I can import data? Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks all

I can't speak to software packages, but when I did commercial narratives, I built a template from the old SREA demo phamplet. That way I didn't have to reinvent all the definitions pages, etc. importing spreadsheets, etc into the template for gridding, Income Approach, etc cut the actual write time significantly.

Honestly, you can do the work once with Word, then just edit as necessary.

Tried N. 1. Saved me no time over the system of templates I developed for myself in Word Perfect
