I'm curious whether anyone on these forums has taken the NC General Certification exam within the last few years. I'm scheduled to take it and want to make sure I concentrate my study efforts in the right direction if you don't mind sharing your experience either here or privately.

The exam isn't a state exam, it's the AQB national exam (just FYI). I haven't taken it for a number of years, but from the others I've heard from on this Forum, know USPAP, know your six functions of a dollar (HP-12C), know your income formulas front to back (I think that they give you a sheet with them on it... but it won't do you any good if you don't know them)... and know how to appraise some property types that you may have never done before (or will ever do). :-)

If you know everything, then you'll be just fine.
