There is alot of new construction condos going up in my area. Is there an online class or any info from FNMA regarding guildelines on how to approach doing these
? I checked McKissock for a class but didnt see any. Thanks in advance.

In my experience, new construction condos are like any other appraisal - and are similar to new SFR construction. In finding an outside sale comp or recent sales, use builder comps, but do not just rely on builder comp sales; find the most similar comps, etc. Your lender or client may have additional specific guidelines.

Bonnie, you are Certified Residential so I presume you have done a few condo appraisals. Can you narrow down what your concerns are?
