I got the Lowrance Go2 which I paid $99 for. The original reason for buying it was for when I was out riding my ATV. However I had heard of people using it for when they do their appraisals. I unfortunately fall into your first catagory where I live in a well developed area. I'm sure it will be great when I am out in the boonies...Originally posted by Bill Potts@Jun 9 2005, 02:15 PM
If you are in a large, metro area and know your way around, they arent much use. For those of us who spend a lot of time in the middle of nowhere, they are fantastic aids.
Not around here. They work great in the city as well. We have lots of one way streets in our cities. Without the Garmin, you can end up driving block after block looking for a street to drive up on.Originally posted by Bill Potts@Jun 9 2005, 03:15 PM

What other kind of toys do you have, Kate?
