Sixty days to pay an appraiser!

https://www.globaldms.com/blog/ohio-becomes-latest-state-to-enact-AMC-legislation

Two Months - Wow I am impressed - NOT :)

i'll take a 60 day requirement to pay an appraiser all day every day over having NO AMC regulations...

Another thing worth noting is that the new legislation requires appraisers working for AMCs to include the license, certificate, or registration number of the AMC that engaged their services within the body of the appraisal report. In addition, these appraisers are also required to include the “actual fees paid to the appraiser” within the body of the appraisal report as well.

and we are required to report whatever fee we are paid for our services. this should make djd and jgrant happy as everything will be right out in the open for everyone to see!

kasich is a joke. 60 days is a joke. they live in a bubble.

i don't care what the appraisers make, i want to know the AMC fees. price fixing is an art.

Big news- so the appraiser is to disclose his fee in the body of the report ? As a lender-borrower or user I could care less what he was paid but I guess to some on this forum this is a big win for appraisers. As far as enforcing the 60 days ? LOL :)
