The land commissioner is looking for a land specialist -

The Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) is looking to hire a Real Estate Management Specialist (REMS). We are reaching out to inquire if you or someone you know may be interested in the position.

The REMS will cover Beaver, Harper, Woods, and Woodward counties. REMS appraise CLO trust lands for leasing and easements, interact with lessees regarding their leases, and oversee day to day operations on CLO trust lands.

Successful candidates possess effective communicative and people skills, knowledge of agriculture and appraisals, are trustworthy, and function successfully with limited to moderate supervision. Experience in appraising and a strong background in agriculture is preferred. A bachelor’s degree at minimum is required for this position, but appraisal certification is not.

The REMS position with the CLO represents a tremendous opportunity to join a team of 7 additional REMS and 6 other Real Estate Management professionals administering CLO trust lands to support Oklahoma public education. If you would like to learn more about the CLO or have questions about this vacancy, please contact Anthony Ruiz at 405-521-4127 or anthony.ruiz@clo.ok.gov.
