OREP has a fee survey - I basically left it all blank. It said both AMC and non-AMC, but the fee survey is entirely a secondary market survey. Non-secondary market participants need not bother to waste your time with it. It relates only to FNMA et al forms.

It does not recognize that Dodd-Frank did not specify secondary market only. It requires C&R for all appraisal fees. And many SFR - Fourplex, Manf. homes, etc. are done on GP or narrative reports. It completely ignores them. So, I won't waste my time and yours posting the link to the survey.

I may have thrown in some higher fees in a few of their surveys before. Wanted to help balance the cookie cutter, cut throat rates.

If the reason they're asking is to identify where the non-AMC fees are at then it should be the AMC splits that are excluded.

Probably better if they ran two lists

The survey is entirely devoted to forms - 1004, FHA fees, Condo, Manf Housing, 2-4 housing. They ask your state then give a choice of MSA, and a choice for 'rural'. There is nothing about non-form fees. What about GP fees? Narrative fees. I mean I use a narrative on everything, and I don't need an extra fee for using a narrative. I might take a few minutes longer to write the report, but OTOH, I can narrate my conclusions on market and don't need to use an MC form, don't have to address secondary market issues or use "C" or "Q" ratings.
