I answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, "Medicare Information Hot Line."

Click.

"Pwned Passwords
Pwned Passwords are 551,509,767 real world passwords previously exposed in data breaches. This exposure makes them unsuitable for ongoing use as they're at much greater risk of being used to take over other accounts. They're searchable online below as well as being downloadable for use in other online systems. Read more about how HIBP protects the privacy of searched passwords."

Here's the design of a good password,

5qQ&yVe1Z0*Q

OR

cARKiBleNTiO (so its prounceable)

Longer passwords are best. Shorter passwords, despite having case sensitive letters & alphanumeric symbols are more susceptible to "brute force" hacks.

Also, never verify a user/pass from a link sent to you in an email. Same idea if you get a call from your bank asking for oersonal i formation bc of fraud alert -you dont answer them, you call your bank back directly. Go to whatever site they're asking you to verify. For a recent eg,

Try long phrases that relate to whatever site youre signing into, something you'll remember or write down (abbreviate/shorthand) and swap out some letters for numbers and throw symbols on the end. If you bank with Chase, "JamieDim0nL0ve5OverdraftF33s%1" (Way harder to brute force (and there are millions of peeps working on cracks constantly). Here's some python2

And harden-up those browsers from gnarly 3rd party (and some first party!) java scripts, XHR, CSS, Frames, et. Clear cookies everytime you close a tab. Your internet browser will be faster -and you'll block CoreLogic from knowing your shoe size, what you bought your loved one on Amazon for Valentines Day, the medications you refilled at your pharmacy, and basically (for most users) your entire browser history -right before you submitted that 1004 you may be asked to buyback in 4.9 years. :P

good suggestion, in fact my password for this forum is grumpyoldgeezerforumwhereeventhoughtheyareveryrudetheyarecompetent :- )

I think you also need a capital letter and one or more numbers to make it acceptable.
