You have to use a converter program, many of which are available and some for free. I use PDF2Word v1.4 ..... Do a google search. It is basically an OCR that scans the pdfs and imports them to Word. Give it a try and holler with any questions.
Copy and paste for text as long as the PDF is not locked.
I do it all the time, but graphics do not work all the time.
Also you might be able to imort the file of do a save as in acrobat 6.0
Adobe reader has a select text button which pulls down and allows you to select graphics, too.
scansoft has a converter and .pdf driver that i use a lot and like much better than adobe...scansoft uses the adobe Reader, but creates from / to Word directly..about $50 i think...much cheaper than abobe.
Also it will take a number of files and combine into a single .pdf file.
PDF Create Assistant and Converter are the names of the programs
