Perhaps I missed a new way these guys think we need to transfer our photos from our phones into the program?

In the past couple months, it has become an exceedingly slow process once I have the previews selected and labeled. You click on the 'Import' button and I could actually leave the room and do some chores before these dang things are done uploading. WT???

It never used to take this long.

It's called a camera with a memory disk you can take out, and load photos in seconds.

But then again i coudn't get used to not looking thru the view finder to take the picture when it disappeard to a screen instead.

Buy a mirrorless or one with a live view (LV) camera then. Use the screen. Mine folds out too.

Just too funny. Does that cost more than my $200 camera. At your camera price i got used to my screen. It also doesn't look hanging lightly around my neck.

Yep, same problem here.

Why are you still using a camera? Just use the mobile app

If you check "defer upload to Titan Photos" it will download the photos like before.

Are you serious, the camera hangs around my neck. I can take a picture with one hand and 1 finger and drop it. With an external disk i can download the photos in 10 seconds.
And your camera is taking too high a photo resolution than is needed for the appraisal.

You kids think that what you have at the moment is better than what was before it. Mostly yes, but not always. Appraising was way better, long ago, before most of you started.

I get the sense that when some tasks get automated, it can remove a level of redundancy and control over the process. It's convenient, but when there's a problem, you're stuck. I prefer to handle a critical task, like photos, in a manner that allows me to keep control over how they are collected, processed, stored and used. Not some third-party app on a cloud server. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own work. If you're gonna pay for and use these services, have a back-up plan for when it doesn't work.
