The Lender wants photos of all bedroom as part of a new construction final inspection. Is this a new requirement?

Don't know if it's a requirement or not but if you looked at it, go ahead and take a picture. CYA

Why wouldn't you take photos of everything on a 1004d new construction. I don't understand..

Did you state subject to completion, except for the bedrooms.

FHA since film went away.
If it ain’t movin’ take a picture. If it is, take a video.

Your camera is digital. Pictures are free unless you print them. I routinely take a picture in every room. Even the inside of the garage. If you need to include a picture in your report, you have it. If you need to refresh your memory, you have it. If there is a dispute about some feature, you have it.

As you all know by now... if the Client requests something that won't cause you to violate USPAP and you accept the assignment..... then, you do it.

The appraisers goal should be to document the entire home, components, rooms, utility, structure, location, surroundings, yard, etc.

You should take a picture of every room every time. For your own personal liability protection at a minimum. Why is this even a question?

Do a lot of appraisers not know the selling guides exist?

Apparently not, since they come on AF and ask, I'll say it again, it AMAZES me some of the questions on AF that come from Certified Appraisers......
