My Dear Friends father passed away a month ago. She and her brother are driving to Scottsdale from Austin, TX and should arrive 02/28/19. After paying so many Dr. / Hospital bills they do not want to pay rental app fees multiple times. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Bump up. I see 70 views with no comments. Please help my dear friend with any recommendations. TYVM!

It might help if you tell how long they plan to stay and what sort of accomdations they want.

Right, are they looking for a long-term apartment? To stay for a few days, weeks, etc? I don't know how anyone can help more than the internet.

Thank you! The best scenario is a 3/2 SFR with a long term lease asap in a good neighborhood.

They maybe should get a RE Agent to show them around. One finder fee if they do in fact find something.

On the other hand, many rentals may be viewed by logging onto the listing website and pay a .99 fee. Appear at door of property you would like to view and a text is sent with the lockbox number. Very popular way to rent a house.

You can try realtor.com or the dreaded zillow.com. I don't know what they might have locally in AZ.

Thank you for your responses! My dear friend has been on every internet search (far techier than me). I reached out on this AZ forum-only if anyone might have a family member, friend, investor etc. in the Scottsdale area for renters.

I will vouch for my friend and her younger brother they're both near 60. They plan to unload U-Haul into a storage unit & stay in a hotel until they can find a home to rent. The U-Haul is 26'. They realized that they were not ready to sell/donate Daddy'os stuff. It's too soon and difficult.

They grew up in Chicago and have seen Daddyo every day and provided a home for their father (who was a police officer) every day for the 30+ years that I know her. ANY help will be s blessing. I personally don't know any other person that can say they spent time every day with a parent for 30+ years.

Thank you!
