Anyone have a good source for construction costs for pole building homes?

If the end product is a house I don't see how it can be called a pole building. Do you have some pictures you can post?

It's new construction, not finished framing yet. These are very popular here, and more are being built, but there is no good cost source for interior finish. Once inside them, you would never know it was a pole building. If I can figure out how to upload pictures, I will upload my comp photos.

Your second post looks like it cam from a link you have provided before for pole barn costs.

Thanks!

Cost has gotta be similar to stick framed, unless they're SIP. Still have to frame between the poles....windows, doors, wiring, plumbing, etc.

I wouldn't call those "pole buildings." It appears they are "barns" with "house" finishes. So you can't really just use a basic square foot method from a cost source unless you do some gymnastics to separate interior barn finishes from the residential finishes. Which may not be that difficult to do with M&S or similar.

Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks

I use it as that is what they are called around here and that is the type of construction.
The current one will have no "barn" finishes as it is only 42x56. Just a two car garage and the rest home. I have done many larger ones with shops the size of and larger than the living area, however, none new construction. There are generally plenty of comparables, albeit dated, as most people stay in them once completed, so I never really concerned myself with the cost approach.

I will be calling some local contractors shortly.
