I just recently had my website redone, in hopes to get more local private business. Do you think my website does the trick or should I change anything?

Check it out here and let me know please. All comments welcome:

I'd substitute a different word for "accurate" and "precision" because an opinion can be neither accurate nor precise; its the facts you're reporting in support of your analysis that can characterized as accurate vs inaccurate.

Another line of reason you might consider conveying is how seriously you take every assignment, regardless of who, what, where or why. You're approaching the 100yr old beater with the same level of diligence as the multi-million dollar custom home. Lots of research, lots of data, lots of analyses. You're not trying to be a mindless drone and hacking out 1004s in 5 hrs flat; you're trying to solve problems and answer the questions which arise.

Thank you. I appreciate it

Looks good. The main thing is, does your site show up on google when local people search for the services that you offer?

You're doing well (above the fold) on Google for the phrase "Fresno appraisers". Here's some stats:

Thank you. I really appreciate you not only taking a look, but then going above and beyond to look up the stats. I just started working with Appraisal Marketing Group (https://www.appraisermarketinggrp.com/) to boost those stats and redo the website. I was getting no traffic doing it myself with the standard Al A Mode website. I'm definitely not a marketing or SEO expert.

I wanted to reach out to others in the industry to get their viewpoint though. The more eyes the better in my opinion.

A website won't really get you business. If you want your business to be public facing then you have to make yourself visible in the community. You can do it the old fashioned way by meeting people and talking to people on a regular basis. Face to face networking. Or you could start a blog or be active on social media.

Most of my private work is from referrals. Mostly referrals agents and some loan officers I have known for years. I do have a basic website that I made myself that costs me about $10 a month. get 5 or 6 a year from it

Nonsense. If your business does not show up above the fold on Google search (page one of search results), you're missing private work. All the appraisers that I know with strong web presence and the proper messaging get constant work. Also keep in mind that many people under 45 do online research first on a company they are considering doing business with before choosing to engage. A website and a real email address (not CoolApprasier@hotmail.com) is biz 101 for any serious small business.

Getting referrals from agents, loan officers, and attorneys you know is from networking. They at least have an idea of your fees when they refer you. My experience has been that random people that call because they found you on the internet are very sensitive to fees. They are a waste of time.
