I completed an appraisal on an SFR in Southern Cali for a conventional re-fi. Assignment was from an AMC. Borrower now has went with another lender. Borrower was asking me to re-assign the appraisal to the new lender. I replied that I cannot do that, the new lender will have to order a new appraisal from their AMC. Now borrower is saying that the new broker/L.O. asked me not to transfer the appraisal to their lender name, rather, they need the FNMA/Freddie SSR report. What are they talking about?
