yes it sounds simple. but when i have a plat with a rectangular lot with corner, i say "50x150 less corner radius", but i have one where it's rectangular with a diagonal corner. instead of listing the details, it simply says "L24". of course i want to know what L24 means, but is there a resource for reading plat maps properly so as to know what all these codes mean? i don't like putting "irregular" "slightly irregular" or "mostly rectangular" because of a simple corner like this.

Zoning????????????? Assessor's office?????????

I have gotten to the point that I don't put the dimensions in for the county I live and do most of my work in. I put there "Unavailable - Site area per Bernalillo County GIS website".

There should be a legend on the plat that indicates what the L24 represents.

I personally am old fashioned with new technology. I scan a copy of the plat into the report (at least the subject site portion of the plat) and say see Plat attached or in the case of available GIS maps, I use the GIS/Tax map. :)

Usually on the full subdivision plats there is a list of radius lengths i.e. L24 = 17.05', L25 = 18.25' or something like that.

I've always put "See plat", or "See attached plat" in the “Dimensions” field. Many times the plats are so small or convoluted you can't read the dimensions anyway.
