I am seriously considering moving to Tampa, FL. The board will likely approve my application and i will take and pass the exam next week. Question is:

How hard will it be and what is the process for reciprocity in Florida as an Indiana Certified Res Appraiser?

You apply indicating if you’re a trainee, certified, or general appraiser. There is a 40 question test you must take and pass. It used to be that you wanted everything done before moving here but I don’t know if that part has changed.

When I got licensed in FL around 2000, the was *no* reciprocity, too many
"damm yankees" come down for season and want to steal FL appraiser business,
so State has no reciprocal licensing.
(a) Get them to recognize your coursework, and (b) your training, or business experience,
then, (c) take same test the rest of the USA uses.
