Registering name?

Wife is setting up her real estate sales business under a new name as one of the words in her business name is no longer being allowed (confuses public between individual agent vs company). She has purchased the domain name ....com, but does she have to register her business name somewhere? Not setting up an office so no city forms are necessary, just changing her business name. Senior moment, brain f..t.

Here (AR) you can file a Doing Business Under an Assumed Name Certificate at any local county clerk office. If an S corp, LLP, LLC, then register fictitious names with the Arkansas Secretary of State and pay an annual franchise tax, but I think the State RE board dictates name structure for sales offices.
