Does anyone have a program they like for doing regression analysis that's works well with MLS?
 
I have yet to find one. I just run my own using Excel. I only deal with one variable at a time. Usually GLA.
 
Export your MLS data to Excel and then cut and paste/ dump it into a simple Regression program...or write your own ... It is really not all that complex.
 
I'm doubtful a regression analysis will reliably predict the behavior of a group of buyers and sellers, but having said that, there are even online sites that will easily do regression along with other mathmatical analysis. Its so easy even a.....

Herd mentality. Got tested last night. Same principle as Family Feud. "survey says"...

Regression works. Correlation won't be 100%. Multiple regressions provide a powerful tool when used right. In fact, they replicate the paired sales analysis only on multiple factors at a time.


* Did you say elephant? About 2 of 3 people will.
