Completed an inspection and finished about 80% of the report. Order was canceled before I submitted it(I received 80% of the fee). A couple days later the order was reinstated. Do I need to reinspect again?

Not if you use the original inspection date with a new signature date. It's actually a revised report, in my opinion. Or actually, i think you can do the signature date the same as inspection date. It's was like taking a couple of days off before you finished it.

Yes, same inspection date. It is like taking a couple of days off before finishing it like you mentioned but they are paying me again.

Good morning, I suggest talking with your Client and establishing a firm effective date and whether the prior inspection date and photos are acceptable. Then proceed accordingly.

Yes, they want same inspection/effective date.

No.
Remember your Appraising 101 class. What is the last step of an appraisal assignment? Prepare the report. You said you got it 80% Typed and were told to stop. By reinstating the assignment, you are merely being told to finish it. Effective date, data, conclusions, all the same. Only difference is the signature date is a couple days later than if you weren’t told to stop. Now get the rest of the 20% fee..
